Please rest assured that purchases of courses you make are not recurring. Likely the reason they are marked as such by your bank is because you are a returning customer and have not entered a CVC code; instead, you have used your saved payment details.

To the bank, doing so seems like a recurring payment, which is why they mark it so. Here is our payment provider, Stripe, explaining in more depth:

We'll never take a penny that wasn't willfully sent by you, so please do not worry! This is just a technicality between the banks and Stripe (one of the largest payment providers in the world).
