If you head over to your settings and click on password, you may have noticed a "PIN" feature.

When you click on it, you will arrive on this page: https://www.chessable.com/settings/pin/

It is from this page where you can set a 4-digit PIN.

The purpose of this 4-digit PIN is to add an extra confirmation to the payment process before you hit purchase. This is often useful if you use your account together with a child and need to make sure that while you step away, they do not purchase without permission more than you bargained for!

Once set, you can change the code but you cannot unset it. The only way to unset it is to e-mail customer support, so if you need to do so, please contact us.
